The Body Shop Born Lippy Lip balm Strawberry Review.

Today im gonna review my currently lip balm. I knew this product from my friend. When i came to her home and i found this lip balm. I try it, and become in love at the first sight.  Its easy to find at The Body Shop Store. It has 6 color variant, mine is strawberry, which red pot.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Our cult lip balm in a pot. Gives colour, flavour and moisture for more kissable lips.

·         Moisturises and conditions lips
·         Red tint
·         Shine finish
·         Fruity strawberry flavour

From the packaging, The Body Shop Born Lippy Strawberry is packed with pot plastic container. It contains 10 ml, pretty much for 12 months, because you have to thrown away this product after 12 months you opened it. The smells really smells like strawberry when you just open the pot. Smells so strong and sweet. Even my boyfriend’s youngest brother who is 5 years old wants to lick it when i open the jar, because he think it’s a candy or something hahaha. I love the smell, but you hate ‘smelly’ lip balm, i dont recommended this product, because it can really bother you.
It also has strawberry taste like candy. Again, if you hate ‘tasted’ lip balm, this product is not for you. The texture is like soft transparent creamy, but its not transparent i mean. It has pinkish tinted color which so soft and not too pigmented (Yeah, what you expected? It’s not tinted balm). Its easy to take the balm from the container because its so soft.
( can you see my finger print patterns?)

Lil’ bit sticky on my finger, but not on my lips. When i put it on my lips, it gave me so smooth and kissable lips. My lips became moistured, and so soft. It also has shiny finish but not glossy, just look moist. The color is sheer, its enough to give lil color to my lips. I have an anemia, so sometimes my lips look pale. But unfortunately, the moist effect is just stay as long as this balm still on my lips. When its dry or disappeared, it will make my bare lips which dry chapped is come off hahaha :’). So you have to repeat to put lipbalm when your lips dry, just like the other lipbalms.
And one more issue, you have to dip your finger in it. For me, its un-hygenic because i am so dirty hand (*O*). But you can also used lip brush to put on your lips for hygenity. Me? I dont care, taking lip brush everywhere is harder for me than taking hand sanitizer or just wash my hand LOL.
PS: You have to keep this product from too hot temperature because it will melt. And also keep this product from too cool temperature because it will hardened.
(+)       Smells and tasted so yummy (but it’s a big cons for you who dislike smelly and tasted lip balm) .
